Illinois vs. Michigan State Men: How to watch, TV channel, streaming, start time, predicted lineups and stats
Rusty Gorelick
Two of the Big Ten's six ranked teams collide on Sunday when the No. 19 Illinois Fighting Illini (13-4, 5-2 Big Ten) visit the No. 12 Michigan State Spartans (15-2, 6-0 Big Ten).
Illinois has been on the fringes of the top-25 for most of the season. The Fighting Illini were ranked as high as ninth in the first AP Poll of 2025, but a recent loss to unranked USC sent them down to 19th. That said, they are 3-2 against ranked teams.
The Spartans had not been ranked until mid-December. This matchup will only be their third against a ranked team after losing to then-No. 1 Kansas in mid-November and beating then-No. 12 North Carolina in late November.
