One of the biggest games of the third week of the 2024/25 Men's College Basketball season features the undefeated No. 25 Illinois Fighting Illini visiting the No. 8 Alabama Crimson Tide, who are looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season.

Illinois enters this game at 3-0, having beaten Eastern Illinois, Southern Illinois - Edwardsville, and last year's Men's College Basketball Tournament surprise team, Oakland.
