Two powerhouses of women's tennis - Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka - will square off in the WTA Miami Final after each were dominant in their respective semifinal matches.
Sabalenka, currently ranked as the World No. 1, is looking for her 24th career title at 27 years old. The Belarussian knocked of Elena Rybakina in the semifinal, 6-4, 6-3 - the same opponent she lost to in the final of the Australian Open earlier this year.
On the other side of the court will be the young American Coco Gauff. Still just 22-years-old, Gauff is searching for his 12th WTA title and first since the 2025 Wuhan Open in October.
Gauff is currently ranked as the World No. 4 and beat top-tier competition in the quarterfinal (Belinda Bencic) and semifinal vs. Karolina Muchova in this year's tournament.
Gauff and Sabalenka have played 12 matches against each other with each winning six. Gauff has gotten to Sabalenka in the two biggest matches they've played against each other - the American took home the head-to-head victory in the 2023 US Open Final and 2025 French Open Final.
Sabalenka did get the best of Gauff most recently, however, when she won the WTA Finals, 7-5, 6-2.
