Indiana Fever superstar and WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark will participate in The Annika Pro-Am alongside world No. 1 Nelly Korda on Wednesday, November 13.
The Annika, hosted by golf legend Annika Sorenstam, is an annual LPGA event that takes place at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
While fans would surely love to see Clark, who began playing golf when she was six, take part in the LPGA event, the 22-year-old superstar will play in the Pro-Am preceding Thursday’s opening round.
Outside of the WNBA’s month-long break in play for the Olympics this summer, Clark was in-season for nearly 12 months straight. Her senior season at Iowa ran from October 2023 to April 2024, before her WNBA rookie season lasted from May 2024 until September 25. Safe to say, Clark wants some time away from basketball.
Clark has reportedly been taking lessons from former pro Martha Foyer-Faulconer in recent weeks, and the Fever star has made “drastic changes” to her swing and stance. Per Golf Digest, Clark is capable of shooting in the low 80s and says chipping is the best part of her game. She previously played in the John Deere Classic Pro-Am alongside former U.S. Ryder Cup captain and Masters champion Zach Johnson in July 2023.
While all four rounds of The Annika will be televised on the Golf Channel, a broadcaster for Wednesday’s Pro-Am has not yet been announced.

Clark will reportedly pair with Nelly Korda, the No. 1 ranked women’s player in the world, in the pro-am.
Korda has six wins on the LPGA Tour in 2024, including the first major championship of the year The Chevron Championship. The 26-year-old recently helped lead the United States to a 15 ½ to 1 ½ victory over Europe in the 2024 Solheim Cup.
