The Houston Texans advanced in the NFL Playoffs to face the Kansas City Chiefs, who had last weekend off after earning the first-round bye as the AFC's No. 1 seed.
Houston blew out the Los Angeles Chargers in the last round by a 32-12 score. In the regular season, they ranked 19th in points scored per game and 14th in points allowed per game, averaging 21.9 points in both categories.
The Chiefs went 15-2 in the regular season. They beat the Texas 27-19 in Week 16 in one of QB Patrick Mahomes' best performances of the 2024 season.

Despite appearing in just 13 of 17 games, Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt led the team in total offense with 904 yards along with seven total TDs.
