The new-look Houston Texans take a trip in Week 1 to face the Indianapolis Colts, who have QB Anthony Richardson back healthy after he played in just four games as a rookie.
The Texans surprised much of the NFL last season when then-rookie CJ Stroud hit the ground running and led the team to a 10-7 record and a playoff berth. The team then brought in some big names this offseason as they signed DE Danielle Hunter and traded for WR Stefon Diggs and RB Joe Mixon.
Indianapolis will look forward to a full season with Richardson under center. The fourth-overall pick in the 2023 draft completed 59.5 percent of his passes for 577 yards and a 3-1 TD-INT ratio while rushing for 136 yards and four TDs.
Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts will be broadcast on CBS, which can be viewed through linear or cable TV and streamed through live TV streaming apps such as YouTubeTV and FuboTV.
Streaming will also be available on NFL+, which requires a paid subscription.
Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts is scheduled to start at 1 PM ET/12 PM CT on Sunday, September 8 with the game taking place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
