The Houston Dynamo are owned by Ted Segal and won their only two MLS Cups in their first two seasons of existence in 2006 and 2007. The Dynamo played their first six seasons at the University of Houston's Robertson Stadium, then moved to a 22,039-seat soccer-specific stadium called Shell Energy Stadium in 2012.
