The second half of the 2024 LIV Golf regular season begins in Asia with LIV Golf Singapore, which takes place at the beginning of May and is appearing on the schedule for the second successive season.
LIV Singapore, staged once again at Sentosa Golf Club, marks the seventh of 12 events which make up the regular season before the Individual Championship and Team Championship tournaments bring the campaign to a close.
LIV Golf fans were treated to a thrilling contest in the island nation last year as Talor Gooch, fresh from winning in Adelaide the previous week, beat Sergio Garcia in a play-off to land a quick double, banking another $4 million in the process.
Gooch's RangeGoats GC also picked up the team competition but the Oklahoman has since been traded to Smash GC for the 2024 season.
The tournament will be played over three days and 54 holes beginning on Thursday, May 2 (ET) and finishing in the early hours of Sunday, May 5 (ET).
In Singapore, the tournament begins Friday morning and finishes on Sunday afternoon local time.
In all LIV tournaments, a shotgun start is adopted so all players will begin play at 9:15 PM EST (Thursday) for the first two rounds and at 9:05 PM EST for the final round (Saturday).
In Singapore, the tournament begins Friday morning at 9:15 AM and finishes on Sunday afternoon local time.
In the United States, all LIV events are broadcast on the CW Network.
The event is able to be streamed on the LIV Golf Plus App and LIV Golf YouTube channel.
The Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club debuted on the LIV circuit in 2023 but the venue has long been associated with professional golf having staged the Singapore Open on the DP World Tour from 2005 to 2012.
A par 71 which measures a total of 7,403 yards, Sentosa also staged the Singapore Open from 2016 to 2022 when it was an Asian Tour-Japan Tour co-sanctioned event.
Masters champions Adam Scott (three-times), Angel Cabrera and Sergio Garcia, who is now playing on the LIV Tour, have won at the venue as has Garcia's fellow LIV player Ian Poulter.
Sadom Kaewkanjana, who played on the LIV Tour in its first season, won the last Singapore Open to be staged at Sentosa.
The Serapong, which has Singapore's cityscape as a backdrop, features numerous water hazards and extensive bunkering so accuracy is of the utmost importance.
