With each of the six teams in the new TGL having played five matches, the race for the playoffs is beginning to take shape and Boston Common already knows it has to raise its game to get into the end-of-season shake-up.
They will play their heavyweights in Monday’s clash with Atlanta Drive GC at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida with Keegan Bradley accompanied by Hideki Matsuyama and Rory McIlroy. Atlanta, meanwhile, will counter with Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay and Billy Horschel.
So let’s look at who could come out on top of a match that could be key in the playoff picture.

Boston Common sits at the bottom of the six-team standings having failed to win any of their opening three games, having started their quest for glory with an overtime defeat against Jupiter Links.
They were comfortably seen off 6-2 by Los Angeles, but they took The Bay all the way in their last outing only to fall to a 5-4 defeat. They should take something from that into Monday's match against Atlanta, who sit third in the table and will be confident of claiming a top-four spot which will be enough to extend their season.
It is time for Boston to get going and this could be the night they get back into the picture, especially as Matsuyama is ready to take on a tough course set-up and should be highly motivated to see off Justin Thomas in the singles, particularly as Matsuyama has lost four of his five matches against the American in the Presidents Cup.
There should also be little love lost between Patrick Cantlay and Rory McIlroy after their falling out at the Ryder Cup, so it would not be a huge surprise if that proved the ideal motivation to take the Northern Irishman to glory.
So the encouragement should be there for Boston and they could just hold the value in what should be an entertaining and close encounter to end an evening of TGL action.
There is little to separate the pair in the betting and this could be a match that is settled by thin margins, so we could be in for a cagey opening.
The first hole, Hatchet, is a par four and it will be crucial for players to find the left side of the fairway as it will open the green up to be attacked.
The short grass slopes to the right and staying on the high side will be vital as it is a much tougher shot from the other side, with a mound that sits short and right of the green waiting for an errant approach.
Strong ball control will be required to keep the ball on the green and both teams will probably be delighted to start the evening with a par 4 so they can build on that during the rest of the round.
Bradley should be relied upon to find the fairway for Boston while Thomas looks Atlanta’s strongest force - Billy Horschel makes up the Drive trio - so take them to deal with the pressure and ensure that the scoreline remains level after the first hole.
