After the conclusion of the year's final Major, attention switches back to the PGA Tour this week for the 3M Open.
Several of golf's big names will be taking a break following The Open Championship, so this event gives others the chance to register a Tour victory.
TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota is the venue for the 72-hole tournament, which has an overall purse of $8.1million.
It's been 10 months since Sahith Theegala's last, and only, PGA Tour victory, but there have been signs that his second success could be close.
Theegala missed the cut at the British Open, but the Californian had finished inside the top-15 twice in his previous four events.
Rounds of 66-65-66-69 at the Scottish Open – which secured him T4 – highlighted the kind of form he has been in.
He missed the cut at last year's 3M Open by a shot, but he's a much different golfer now, with his confidence clearly increasing over the last year.
The 26-year-old is the highest-ranked player in the field this week and one of only two competitiors inside the world's top-20 in action in Minnesota.
TPC Twin Cities is inside the top-15 longest courses on the PGA Tour this season, measuring in at 7,431 yards.
Theegala currently ranks sixth in the Longest Drives stats, 22nd Off The Tee and 23rd Tee-to-Green so its a track that should suit his big-hitting style.
The five winners of this tournament have all been Americans, but Emiliano Grillo will feel he can end that run in 2024.
The Argentinian, who has two PGA Tour titles to his name, has an excellent record in this tournament in recent years.
Grillo claimed T2 in 2022, when finishing three shots behind the eventual winner, Tony Finau, with a score of 264.
The 31-year-old reiterated his liking for the TPC Twin Cities course by finishing in the top 10 again last year. A final round 66 saw Grillo finish on 14-under-par.
After failing to make the cut at the Scottish Open earlier this month, Grillo showed some grit in tough conditions at Troon, making the weekend at the British Open.
The South American is currently 66th in the FedEx Cup standings and will feel a big week in Minnesota will see him move closer to the top-50.
Scotland's Martin Laird had missed three cuts in a row going into last week's Barracuda Championship, but a much-improved showing will have boosted confidence.
The 41-year-old was T21 in California and now heads to a course where he enjoyed a good showing in last year's 3M Open.
Laird finished in a tie for second 12 months ago, seven shots behind winner Lee Hodges, after carding a final round 64.
With a lot of the big names missing this week, it looks like a perfect opportunity for the man from Glasgow to pick up some healthy prize money.
