The Golden State Valkyries, the WNBA's newest franchise, will take on the new-look Phoenix Mercury in the final preseason game before the regular season begins on May 17.
The Valkyries are likely to be led by Belgium National Team guard Julie Vanloo, veteran guard and UConn product Tiffany Hayes, former Indiana Fever center Temi Fagbenle, and former Iowa guard Kate Martin.
The Mercury lost Diana Taurasi to retirement and Brittney Griner to free agency this offseason, but they acquired Satou Sabally, Alyssa Thomas, and Kalani Brown to join four-time WNBA All-Star Kahleah Copper.
Golden State Valkyries vs. Phoenix Mercury will be streamed globally on WNBA League Pass, which requires a subscription.
Fans in the greater Phoenix area can watch on Arizona's Family Sports, fans located in or near San Francisco can watch on KPIX+, and fans located around Sacramento can watch on KMAX 31.
Golden State Valkyries vs. Phoenix Mercury is scheduled to tip off at 6 PM ET/4 PM MT/3 PM PT on Sunday, May 11th from PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
