The No. 2 UConn Huskies play their first Big East game of the 2024/25 Women's College Basketball season at home against the Georgetown Hoyas on Saturday.
The Hoyas are 6-4, with two of their losses coming against high-major programs in Wisconsin and Cincinnati and the other two against mid-major programs Florida Gulf Coast and George Mason.
UConn (8-1) is coming off its first loss of the season, a 79-68 defeat against No. 8 Notre Dame on Thursday.
