Garrett Nussmeier: Player Props, Odds and Lines vs. Baylor

LSU Tigers quarterback Garrett Nussmeier is set to return to the program in 2025 after leading his team to an 8-4 record in 2024, and he'll want to end the season on a high note with a win over Baylor in the Texas Bowl.

Nussmeier's first season as the full-time starter got off to a rocky start with a Week 1 loss to USC, but he then rattled off six straight wins including victories over South Carolina, Mississippi and Arkansas.

A three-game losing streak ended Nussmeier's and his team's College Football Playoff hopes, but ending the campaign with wins over Vanderbilt and Oklahoma will give him a bit of confidence ahead of the bowl game.

Across the 2024 season, Nussmeier completed 63.7 percent of his passes for 3,739 yards and a 26-11 TD-INT ratio.

In the Texas Bowl, Nussmeier will want to put on a performance that turns the heads of prospective incoming transfers for LSU. He has already had a few such performances this season, with two games of 400+ passing yards and five more games over 300 passing yards.
