Garcia and Lara will meet at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lara will defend his WBA middleweight strap, which he won back in May 2021. The fight will be Garcia's first at 160lbs, having held world titles at light welterweight and welterweight.
Garcia's record stands at 37-3, with 21 of those wins coming via knockout.
None of Garcia's defeats have come via stoppage, which showcases his durability at the highest level.
"Swift" was a U.S. national champion as an amateur, winning the title in 2006, before turning professional in 2007.
The Philadelphia fighter did not win his first title until he moved to 15-0, when he won the WBC youth intercontinental light welterweight title in December 2009 after beating Enrique Colin. He then beat British fighter Ashley Theophane and Kendall Holt on his way to 22-0.
In March 2012, he challenged for his first world title, beating Erik Morales on points to win the vacant WBC light welterweight title.
He defended that belt and then won the WBA (Super) and vacant The Ring light welterweight titles with a superb performance against Amir Khan, recording a fourth-round stoppage success in July 2012 in what was the biggest night of his career.
That win over Khan gave him a platform for the rest of his career, and he beat Morales, Zab Judah, Lucas Matthysse, Mauricio Herrera and Rod Salka in a superb two-year spell.
Garcia, known for his devastating power, then added some big names to his CV, beating Lamont Paterson, Paulie Malignaggi and Robert Guerrero, and he claimed the vacant WBC welterweight title during his win over the latter.
The 36-year-old lost his first fight in March 2017, losing his WBC welterweight title to Keith Thurman via split decision. While he got back to winning ways in February 2018, Garcia then lost to Shawn Porter in September of that year.
Errol Spence Jr. beat Garcia in December 2020 to hand him his third defeat and move his record to 36-3. Garcia was last in action in July 2022, beating Jose Benavidez Jr. on points.
At 41, Lara is a veteran of the fight game, having made his professional debut in July 2008, and his record now stands at 30-3-3.

In March 2011, his fight with Carlos Molina was scored a draw at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas before he then lost to Paul Williams in July of that year.
Lara regrouped and moved to 19-1-2 after another draw against Vanes Martirosyan before another defeat, this time to eventual pound-for-pound star Canelo Alvarez in July 2014.
Thankfully for Lara, he won the WBA (Regular) light middleweight title in December 2014 at the expense of Ishe Smith.
Lara's career has been a huge success, but as a technically gifted fighter, he has often been avoided by rising stars.
Lara originally won the WBA (Regular) middleweight crown against LaManna in 2021, and he has since defended that belt twice in three years, beating Gary O'Sullivan and Michael Zerafa.
