Reigning National Champions Michigan - with a new coach and starting quarterback - open their season with a home game against the Fresno State Bulldogs.
The Michigan Wolverines are coming off an undefeated 15-0 season and bring back plenty of talent to earn themselves the preseason No. 9 ranking, but as of the Thursday before their 2024 season opener, the coaching staff has yet to announce the starting QB.
Fresno State went 9-4 last season but went 4-4 in their conference. They bring back their starting QB, top RB and second-leading receiver.

Fresno State defensive back Al'zillion Hamilton had eight passes defended and two interceptions last season.
Michigan cornerback Will Johnson had four interceptions, including one pick-six, in the 2023 season.
