Managed by former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid left back Filipe Luis, Flamengo has scored 24 and conceded just four through 11 games of domestic league play.

Esperance, shortened from Esperance Sportive de Tunis, is a Tunisian club that regularly dominates its domestic league and is known as one of the top clubs in Africa.
The club qualified for the Club World Cup via finishing position in the CAF Champions League, in which they lost in the final to Al Ahly in 2024.
