G2 Esports talent Victor "Flakked" Lirola Tortosa has described reaching the semi-finals of the Mid-Season Invitational 2022 as "insane" and has backed his side's bot lane to match that of upcoming opponents T1's.
In the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitiational, T1 at 1/6 to beat G2 Esports, who can be backed at 7/2 to win on Saturday.
G2 were dominant in the group stage of the MSI, winning all eight of their matches in a section which also featured Evil Geniuses and ORDER, while T1 were also impressive with a 6-0 win-loss record.
In the Rumble Stage, though, T1 looked slightly better with seven wins from their ten matches compared to a 5-5 record from G2 and "Flakked" and company arguably go into the semi-final between the sides as underdogs.
For 21-year-old "Flakked" it is a particularly big occasion given the MSI marks his first ever tournament overseas and he has only been on the G2 Esports roster since December last year.

And the bot laner is grateful to be playing at such a high level, whilst also acknowledging that his part of the team have the quality to match or better opponents T1, who won the LCK Spring Split playoffs earlier this year.
Speaking in an interview with Inven Global, "Flakked" said: "It's just insane to be here - a lot of people know this is my first international tournament ever.
"I can't wait for a banger match against T1.
"It's somewhat hard to believe - it feels like I'm dreaming - [playing] against world-class bot lakers like Gumayusi and GALA. I think that in the semi-finals, our bot lane will either play better or at least go even."
