He began his career in August of 2008, starting with 18 straight wins, while also winning the WBC Mundo Hispano Super Flyweight title in October of 2010.
After suffering his first loss to Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr in May of 2011, Estrada won another eight fights in a row, before losing to Roman Gonzalez in 2012, a fight that was for the WBA Light Flyweight title.
Another 10 consecutive wins for Estrada led to him winning the WBA (Unified) and WBO Flyweight titles, and defending these titles five times.
His third loss came in 2018 to Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in a fight for the WBC and The Ring Super Flyweight titles. Since that loss, he has won eight more fights in a row, winning both the WBC and The Ring Super Flyweight titles, as well as the WBA Super Flyweight title.

Rodriguez comes into this fight with a professional boxing record of 19-0. He started his career in March of 2017, winning his first 14 fights in a row before getting his first title shot in February of 2022.
This fight was for the vacant WBC Super Flyweight title, a fight he won against Carlos Cuadras by unanimous decision.
He defended this title twice, in June of 2022 and September of 2022.
