It is that time of the year when all the major League of Legends divisions across the globe reach their summer seasons and Wednesday marks the start of the LCK Summer 2024 in South Korea.

They placed second in the initial phase of the LCK Spring before reaching the Grand Final in the playoffs and they pushed Gen.G close in a 3-2 defeat.

That earned them a play-in spot at the Mid-Season Invitational and they crushed both Estral Esports and FlyQuest to make the main draw.

In the main bracket, they were knocked down to the lower bracket by Bilibili Gaming, who ended their campaign in the equivalent of the lower-bracker final.

Nonetheless, T1 secured third spot at the MSI - a position not to be sniffed at - and if Gen.G Esports show any signs of faltering at the LCK Summer this year, T1 will almost definitely capitalise.

Form in recent tournaments and T1's wobble at the MSI point to a Gen.G Esports win at the LCK Summer but weirder things have happened in this Esport than a T1 triumph and they could be worth chancing at more than double the price of their main competitors.
