England have underwhelmed so far at the Euros but the Three Lions should finally hit their stride against Switzerland in the last eight.
Switzerland won 2-0 against reigning champions Italy in the round of 16, while England narrowly escaped Slovakia by a 2-1 score after extra time to set up this quarterfinals match.
England know they simply have to improve if they are to go any further in the tournament after struggling to get past Slovakia in the last 16.
Eventually, Jude Bellingham's wonder goal and a Harry Kane extra-time header edged them through but Gareth Southgate's side have been thoroughly unconvincing so far.
They clearly have talent in abundance but Southgate has been struggling to get the best out of his players in Germany. However, with a change of formation to a more attacking 3-5-2 likely for this Dusseldorf dust-up, expect England to finally deliver.
The Swiss have been one of the better sides in the tournament so far, finishing second in a tricky group behind hosts Germany before they eased past defending champions Italy in the previous round, winning 2-0 with a minimum of fuss.
They will test England but a much-improved showing from the Three Lions looks likely and that should be enough to see them through.
England will not have it all their own way in Dusseldorf, though. Switzerland have scored in all of their games so far and that pattern looks set to continue.
They have players like Breel Embolo, Dan Ndoye, Ruben Vargas and former Liverpool man Xherdan Shaqiri - the scorer of a stunning goal against Scotland - who can hurt Southgate's side.
England have looked sporadically threatening going forward in Germany with Bellingham and Kane both on the scoresheet twice, but the likes of Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka can also weigh in with goals.
Under Southgate, England have been particularly potent at set-pieces and have defenders John Stones and midfield anchorman Declan Rice who will look to exploit any Swiss defensive weakness.
Phil Foden, like several of his teammates, initially struggled in Germany but the Manchester City star, who was recently named Footballer Of The Year in England, has performed better in the national team's past two outings.
Foden's goal record for his country is surprisingly poor for someone of his talent as the 24-year-old has just four goals from 38 caps, but he has had eight shots in the tournament so far and came very close to scoring against Denmark in the group stage when he struck the post.
The versatile attacker can be unplayable at his best and he could be England's inspiration against the Swiss.
