Elliot Cadeau Allergy Update: Will the Michigan Guard Play this Weekend?

Michigan starting point guard Elliot Cadeau suffered a serious allergic reaction recently, and his status is in question for the NCAA Tournament semifinal vs. Arizona.

Cadeau, a transfer from North Carolina, has thrived in his role as a playmaker, slasher, and spot-up shooter for one of the most dominant teams in college basketball this season.

The guard Brooklyn, New York, has averaged 10.2 points and 5.8 assists per game while shooting 37.7% from three for the year.

However, he was seen on a stretcher getting loaded into an ambulance with a towel over his head. Reportedly, he ate a piece of food that he was allergic to.

While the team has traveled to Indianapolis, where the semifinal and championship rounds will take place, Cadeau reportedly stayed back to get medical treatment.

Will Elliot Cadeau play in the NCAA Tournament semifinal?

According to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, Cadeau is "doing fine and should be in Indianapolis soon."

Cadeau's abilities will be much needed against another dominant team in the tourney, Arizona. Both teams have beat each of their tournament opponents by more than ten points.
