Four-time French Open champion Iga Swiatek continues her bid for a fourth consecutive title on Tuesday morning against Elina Svitolina.
Swiatek, who has won 25-straight matches at Roland-Garros, entered the tournament second in the outright betting behind Aryna Sabalenka, who she could face in the semifinals if both win their last eight matchups.
On her way to the quarterfinals, the Pole has dropped just one set, against No. 12 Elena Rybakina in the fourth round.
Svitolina, the No. 13 ranked player in the field, is fresh off a fourth-round upset over No. 4 Jasmine Paolini, 4-6 7-6 6-1. The 30-year-old has reached three Grand Slam semifinals in her career - her last came at 2023 Wimbledon - but never at the French Open.
According to Tennis Tonic, Swiatek is 3-1 all-time against Svitolina. Swiatek won in their only meeting on clay (6-2 7-5 – 2021 Italian Open), and the most recent meeting earlier this year (7-6 6-3 – 2025 Miami Open).
