The No. 16 Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers won the MAAC, and they were rewarded for their efforts with one of the toughest first-round matchups possible, against the No. 1 Duke Blue Devils and a healthy Cooper Flagg.
Flagg suffered an ankle injury against Georgia Tech in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament, causing him to miss the next two games. His teammates picked up the slack to win the conference tournament, and the Wooden Award candidate is set to return in the March Madness round of 64.
