Oregon Ducks QB Dillon Gabriel enters Week 10 as the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy, and he'll look to further improve his resume with a road win at the reigning National Champion Michigan Wolverines.
Gabriel's Heisman Trophy odds moved to +260 after leading his team to a 38-9 blowout win over then-No. 20 Illinois last week. He completed 18/26 passes for 291 yards and a 3-1 TD-INT ratio, and he rushed for a score as well.
In the race for the Heisman, the players competing with Gabriel are Miami Hurricanes QB Cam Ward (+300), Colorado Buffaloes CB/WR Travis Hunter (+300), and Boise State Broncos RB Ashton Jeanty (+425).
In eight games this season, Gabriel has completed 76.2 percent of his passes for 2,371 yards and a 18-5 TD-INT ratio. He leads the Big Ten in passing touchdowns and passing yards, and he leads all Division I QBs in completion percentage.
It should be noted that the Wolverines are 5-3 and have not come close to the levels they reached en route to the Playoff last season, having seen QB JJ McCarthy, RB Blake Corum, WR Roman Wilson, LB Junior Colson, CB Mike Sainristil, and most of its offensive line leave for the NFL before this season.
Let's take a look at Gabriel's odds ahead of a matchup against Michigan, which allows the 53rd-highest completion percentage (62.0) and the 50th-most passing yards per game (228.5) out of the 134 Division I football teams.
