Devin Haney Odds to Win vs. Jose Ramirez in May 2 fight

Devin Haney gets back into the ring for the first time in just over a year when he takes on Jose Ramirez as part of the 'Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves' card in Times Square, New York on Saturday.

Haney is the heavy -1100 favorite to win the fight.

The San Francisco native's most recent fight was ruled a no contest because his opponent, Fatal Fury headliner Ryan Garcia, missed weight and failed a drug test. But, Haney lost the fight via unanimous decision and was knocked down three times during the fight, which was only ruled a no contest afterwards.

This is a big opportunity for Haney to bounce back, and he still holds an unbeaten record at 31-0 with the one NC.

Haney is also +400 to win by KO/TKO/DQ and is -350 to win via unanimous decision. Out of his 31 wins, 16 have come via decision and 15 were by stoppage. Haney hasn't won by KO since 2019.

Before the setback against Garcia, Haney had picked up some impressive wins against strong opponents. Between May 2021 and December 2023, he beat Jorge Linares, Joseph Diaz Jr., George Kambosos Jr. (twice), Vasiliy Lomachenko, and Regis Prograis, all by unanimous decision.

During that period, he won and retained the undisputed lightweight title. He beat Kambosos for it in their first bout, and their second fight was Haney's first of three successful retentions.

After the Garcia fight, Haney was granted Champion in Recess status by the WBC.
