AL Central rivals collide in the ALDS as the Cleveland Guardians face the Detroit Tigers.
The Tigers swept the Houston Astros in the Wild Card round to set up this matchup. Their best player is starting pitcher Tarik Skubal, but questions remain how they'll cope when he is unavailable after Detroit relied on its bullpen for all nine innings of Game 2 against Houston.
Cleveland, on the other hand, has a lineup of solid hitters plus Tanner Bibee and Ben Lively as its reliable starting pitchers. The Guardians are also solid in the bullpen, with four relievers - including Emmanuel Clase, one of MLB's top closers - with ERAs under 2.00.
