Crystal Palace take on Manchester City from the iconic Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 17 in the FA Cup final.
Manchester City is looking to avoid its first season without a trophy since 2016/17, manager Pep Guardiola’s first season with the club. Under Guardiola, City has won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups and one Champions League.
The 2024/25 season has arguably been City’s worst under Pep, with the club well off the pace of Premier League champions Liverpool and still fighting for a top-five finish in the league to confirm their spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League.
On the other side, Crystal Palace has a chance to win the club’s first-ever major trophy in its 119-year history. Palace has reached the FA Cup final twice before, losing to Manchester United in both 1990 and 2016.
Manchester City trounced Crystal Palace 5-2 in their last meeting on April 12. There have been a total of 21 goals scored across the last four meetings between these sides dating back to December 2023.
For fans in the United States, the FA Cup final between Crystal Palace and Manchester City will stream on ESPN+, which requires a paid subscription.
Crystal Palace vs. Manchester City in the FA Cup final will kick off at 11:30 AM ET / 8:30 AM PT on Saturday, May 17 from Wembley Stadium in London, England.
