Cruz comes into this fight with a professional boxing record of 3-0.

Before even making his professional boxing debut, Cruz had won plenty of awards.

This includes four gold medals in the Cuban National Championships, two gold medals in the Pan American Games, three gold medals in the World Amateur Championships, and one gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. 

He officially made his professional boxing debut in July of 2023, winning the vacant IBF International Lightweight title against Juan Carlos Burgos.

In his following fight, he defended this title, while also winning the vacant WBA Continental Latin-American Lightweight title in December of 2023.

Most recently, Cruz defended both of his titles in February of 2024.

So far in his professional career, Cruz has won once by knockout and twice by decision. 

Antonio Moran record

Moran comes into this fight with a professional boxing record of 30-6-1, having made his professional boxing debut in March of 2012.

Moran won his first 17 consecutive fights over a two-year span before finally suffering his first loss in December of 2014 to Luis Vidales Gutierrez.

Following his first loss, Moran quickly bounced back with another four consecutive wins before losing his second fight to Emanuel Lopez in December of 2016.

Moran won his next three fights in a row, also winning the WBO Latino Lightweight title during this stretch in July of 2017. 

Come June 2018, Moran lost his WBO Lightweight title to Jose Pedraza by unanimous decision.

His next title fight was against Devin Haney in May of 2019, a fight for the WBC International Lightweight and WBO Inter-Continental Lightweight title, which he lost by knockout. 

Shortly after this loss Moran won the vacant WBA Fedecentro Welterweight title in September 2020, and the WBA Fedecentro Super Lightweight title in October 2020, before failing to win the WBO International Super Lightweight title in August 2021. 

Since that time, Moran has gone 4-1 in his last five fights, which includes a win against Romero Duno by knockout in January of 2024.

Overall, Moran has won 21 times by knockout and nine times by decision. Five of his six losses have come by decision and he has one loss by knockout with one of his fights ending in a draw.
