The CONCACAF Champions Cup comes to a close on Sunday as Cruz Azul and the Vancouver Whitecaps face off in the final.
Mexican side Cruz Azul have beaten Real Hope FA, Seattle Sounders FC, Club America, and Tigres to get to this point. In the Liga MX Clausura phase, they were knocked out in the semifinals by Club America.
Vancouver, which has surprisingly been one of the best teams in North America this season, beat Deportivo Saprissa, CF Monterrey, Pumas, and Inter Miami to reach the final. They currently sit atop the MLS Western Conference through 15 matches.
