2025 Conn Smythe Trophy Odds

Who will take home the 2025 Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs?

The Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers are facing off in the Stanley Cup Final for a second-straight year, just 12 months removed from a thrilling seven-game series won by Florida after Edmonton came back from a 3-0 series deficit.

Despite the Oilers falling short, Connor McDavid won the Conn Smythe Trophy, becoming the first player to win the award while playing for the losing team since 2003.

With this year's Cup final underway, let's take a look at the latest odds to win the Conn Smythe Trophy.

2025 Conn Smythe Trophy Odds

Sam Bennett

-200

Brad Machand

+450

Connor McDavid

+700

Leon Draisaitl

+750

Only four players are shorter than 100/1 to win the Conn Smythe Trophy entering Game 6, with the Panthers leading the Oilers 3-2 in the series.

Panthers centre Sam Bennett is the -200 favorite, having recorded a point in all five games of the Cup final so far. Bennett’s five goals and an assist in the series brings him to 22 points in the postseason, the most of any Florida player.

Panthers mid-season acquisition Brad Marchand is second-favorite at +450. The former Boston Bruin has fit into this Florida team seamlessly, and will be a major reason they lift back-to-back Stanley Cups if they can get one more win. Marchand scored the double overtime winner in Game 2 and has two multi-goal games in the Cup final.

Oilers star duo Connor McDavid (+700) and Leon Draisaitl (+750) are close to even in the odds, with Edmonton needing a full team effort, on top of what their all-world tandem has provided, to come back and win this series.

Draisaitl has two overtime winners in the Cup final, leading to both of Edmonton’s wins, and is level with  McDavid at the top of the playoff points rankings with 33.

McDavid scored his first goal of the Cup final in Edmonton’s Game 5 loss to add to his six assists in the series.

Luckily for Edmonton, we’ve seen crazier comebacks than what is required this year, including last season when these Oilers rallied from 3-0 down to go to a Game 7, which they lost.
