Coco Gauff is priced as the second-favorite to win the gold medal at the Olympics this summer.
Gauff will compete in the women’s singles tournament, taking place from Saturday, July 27 to Sunday, August 4 at Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France, the site of the French Open, one of tennis’ four annual grand slam tournaments.
The 20-year-old American trails only Iga Swiatek (-188 To Win Outright) in the betting. Swiatek has a proven track record as the best women’s clay-court player in the world, having won four French Open titles in the past five years.
Gauff’s best finish at the French Open came in 2022, when she fell to Swiatek in the final. Overall, she has a 20-5 record in the tournament and has reached the quarterfinals or further each of the last four years.
Along with Katerina Siniakova, Gauff won the women’s doubles tournament at the 2024 French Open.
Other gold medal contenders include Elena Rybakina (+900), Mira Andreeva (+1400), Naomi Osaka (+1400) and recent Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova (+2200).
