Plenty of prize money is on the line this summer in the United States, as well as the prestige of being the first team to win this version of the competition.

Here, we'll take a look at the pre-tournament top goalscorer odds for the 2025 Club World Cup.

2025 Club World Cup Top Goalscorer odds

Alexander Sorloth

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe enters the 2025 Club World Cup as the +450 favorite to be the tournament's leading goalscorer.

The French forward has scored at a rate of 0.91 goals per 90 minutes throughout his career, and he's coming off a season in which he scored 38 goals in 4,034 minutes between La Liga and the UEFA Champions League. With talented teammates including Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Luka Modric, and Arda Guler surrounding him, he should get plenty of chances to get on the scoresheet.

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is second in the top goalscorer market at +550.

He has scored at least 22 league goals in each of the last five seasons, and his career goals-per-90-minutes rate is 0.99 in all competitions. The Cityzens have already brought in midfield playmakers such as Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki ahead of the tournament, and if they develop chemistry with Haaland quickly, the Norwegian goalscorer should be set for a successful tournament.

Harry Kane, the No. 9 for Bayern Munich, has the third shortest odds at +700, and he's the last player with odds shorter than 10/1. Kane has scored 62 league goals in his two seasons in Germany for an average of 1.02 goals per 90 minutes. He had 50.9 expected goals (xG) over those two seasons, and the fact that he managed 62 goals makes him one of the best finishers in the world from a statistical standpoint.

Fourth in the odds at +1000 is PSG forward and Ballon d'Or favorite Ousmane Dembele. The Frenchman has become a whole new player under manager Luis Enrique, who moved him to striker midway through the 2024/25 season before Dembele led the team all the way to win the UEFA Champions League. Dembele scored 29 goals on 24.7 xG in the league and UEFA Champions League.

Serhou Guirassy is the +1200 fifth-favorite, and he's coming off a season where he scored 34 goals in 3,681 minutes on 35.0 xG between the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League. His finishing was slightly below expected, but he still managed 0.81 goals per 90 minutes and had six multi-goal games.

Further back in the market, from 16/1 to 20/1, are Atletico Madrid's Alexander Sorloth, Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr., PSG's Bradley Barcola, Atleti's Julian Alvarez, Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez, Inter Miami's Lionel Messi, and Manchester City's Omar Marmoush.

Some of the longer shots to win the award, from 25/1 to 33/1, include PSG's Desire Doue, Bayern's Serge Gnabry, Chelsea's Cole Palmer, Inter Milan's Marcus Thuram, Al Hilal's Aleksandar Mitrovic, PSG's Goncalo Ramos, and Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham.
