Two Mexican giants will face off in the CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal on Tuesday night, as Club America faces off against Cruz Azul.
It marks the first of a two-leg aggregate tie, with the second leg taking place next week on Tuesday, April 8.
These two sides have met many times as rivals in Liga MX – the rivalry is known as ‘Clasico Joven’ - most recently in the Liga MX Apertura playoffs in December, won by America 4-3 on aggregate.
Both teams cruised to the quarterfinals via 4-1 aggregate victories in the round of 16, America defeating Chivas while Cruz Azul eliminated MLS side Seattle Sounders.
Club America vs. Cruz Azul will be broadcast on Fox Sports 2, with streaming available on FOXSports.com.
