The Kansas City Chiefs are +900 to finish the 2024 regular season a perfect 17-0, a feat that has never been accomplished in the history of the NFL.
Following their 30-24 overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football, the Chiefs (8-0) are a 9/1 shot to finish the 17-game regular season undefeated.
Since the NFL transitioned to a 17-game regular season in 2020, no team has finished the regular season undefeated. In fact, only two teams in the Super Bowl era have completed a perfect regular season – the 2007 New England Patriots and the 1972 Miami Dolphins.
The last undefeated team in each NFL season, which in 2024 is the Chiefs, has not gone on to win a championship since 2006 (Indianapolis Colts). Most years, the team that starts the hottest usually doesn’t end that way. The Chiefs are currently +375 favorites to win it all come February.
With 17-0 a real possibility, let’s take a look at the Chiefs remaining regular season schedule, as well as some of their other odds for the 2024 season.
