The Chicago Cubs will face Nippon Professional Baseball’s Hanshin Tigers at the world-famous Tokyo Dome on Friday, March 14 as they ramp up for the start of the 2025 MLB regular season.
This game marks the first of a four-game MLB vs. NPB exhibition series, which also features the Los Angeles Dodgers and Yomiuri Giants, allowing fans in Japan to see their home teams face off against the world’s best.
And it all leads up to the 2025 Tokyo Series, a two-game set between the Cubs and Dodgers to kick off the 2025 MLB regular season.
Of course, the Cubs and Dodgers are bringing along their supremely talented Japanese superstars in Shohei Ohtani, Shota Imanaga, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Roki Sasaki and Seiya Suzuki to put on a show for their home nation.
