Cam Ward: Player Props, Odds, Lines for Week 5 vs. Virginia Tech

Miami Hurricanes QB Cam Ward is the new favorite to win the Heisman Trophy as he's led his team to a 4-0 record, and he'll look to make it 5-0 against the Virginia Tech Hokies this Friday.

Ward currently leads all of College Football in passing touchdowns with 14, and he leads the ACC in passing yards (1,439), yards per attempt (11.7), passing yards per game (359.8), and passer efficiency rating (204.9).

So far this season, the Hurricanes have beaten Florida 41-17, Florida A&M 56-9, Ball State 62-0, and South Florida 50-15. They have climbed from 19th in the preseason AP Poll to No. 7 in the latest one, and their matchup against Virginia Tech is the team's ACC opener.

After four games, Miami has the eighth-shortest outright odds at +1800 and Ward is the new favorite to win the Heisman at +450, ahead of Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart and Alabama QB Jalen Milroe.

Ward has thrown for at over 300 yards in all four games this season, and he has thrown three TDs or more in each game. He has completed at least 20 passes in three of four games.
