Miami QB Cam Ward continues to amaze for the undefeated Hurricanes.
Ward, a Washington State transfer, has emerged as a Heisman Trophy candidate while leading The U to 8-0 with a great chance to make the 12-team College Football Playoff.
In Week 10, Miami trailed Duke 28-17 midway through the third quarter before Ward led five scoring drives over the final quarter and a half, including TD passes of 49 and 66 yards, to win 53-31.
The Texas native ranks 2nd in the nation in passing yards (3,146) and 1st in passing TD (29) on the season, and is currently the +180 favorite to win the Heisman.
Miami earned the No. 4 seed in the first College Football Playoff rankings release on Tuesday and is -1200 to reach the CFP.
