Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark will miss “at least two weeks” with a left quad strain, according to a team release on Monday.
The Fever, who sit with a 2-2 record after Sunday’s 90-88 loss against reigning the WNBA champion New York Liberty, play four games over the next two weeks, all of which Clark looks set to miss before being re-evaluated.

Clark could return ahead of Indiana’s game against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday, June 10.
The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year did not miss a game in her first professional season, playing all 42 regular season and playoff games as she led the Fever to their first postseason since 2016.
Four games into the 2025 season, Clark is averaging 19 points and a league-high 9.3 assists per game, including her third career triple-double in Indiana’s season opener vs. Chicago.
The second-year sensation scored 18 points and logged 10 assists in 38 minutes as the Fever lost to the Liberty on Saturday. It is unknown when Clark sustained her injury.
While Clark is irreplaceable due to her one-of-a-kind playmaking ability, the Fever do have the talent to pick up the slack.
Forward Aaliyah Boston (185 PPG, 10.8 PPG) has been an offensive force so far this season, while Clark’s backcourt mate Kelsey Mitchell (17.8 PPG) will take up ball-handling responsibilities.
Lexie Hull (10 PPG, 53.3% FG) and offseason addition Sophie Cunningham (7 PPG, 50 FG%) will also be expected to raise their level in Clark’s absence.
