Indiana Fever superstar guard Caitlin Clark will soon take the court for her sophomore season in the WNBA, and bet365 is offering a wide range of markets and odds on her statistical milestones.
The 23-year-old has taken women’s basketball – and the sporting world – by storm in recent years.
After a historic college career at Iowa in which she became Division I college basketball’s all-time leading scorer, Clark took another massive step up in her first professional season with the Fever.
As a rookie, Clark finished fourth in MVP voting, was named to the All-WNBA first team, set records for the most points, assists, and double-doubles by a rookie in WNBA history, and set a new single-game record for assists (19), to name just a few of her many accolades.
Her sensational debut season begs the question – what heights can Clark reach in 2025?
Let’s take a look at some notable odds and markets offered at bet365 ahead of Clark’s second WNBA season.
Clark is favored to win WNBA MVP in 2025 at +200, with three-time winner A’ja Wilson (+225) a close second.
Wilson, of the Las Vegas Aces, was voted the unanimous MVP in 2024 and has won three of the last five MVP awards. 2024 runner-up Napheesa Collier (+300) and two-time MVP Breanna Stewart (+1200) are also expected to challenge for the award.
Clark finished fourth in MVP voting in her rookie season.
Clark has the ninth-shortest odds (+1800) to win Most Improved Player ahead of her sophomore season.
Typically an award designated for a player at the start of their career, Clark already displayed a huge leap from her final college season to her rookie WNBA season, so it’s a fair to assume she does the same in her second year as a pro.
Clark is the odds-on favorite to lead the WNBA in assists per game for a second-straight year.
In her rookie season, Clark accumulated 337 assists in the regular season (8.4 per game), the most in a single season in WNBA history and 20 more than the second-most, Alyssa Thomas with 317 (7.9 per game), which was the second-most in a season in league history.
Only three players in WNBA history have surpassed 300 assists in a single season - Clark, Thomas (twice) and Courtney Vandersloot (twice).
With the WNBA regular season expanding from 40 games to 44 in 2025, it won't come as a shock if the single-season assist record is broken again.
