Cade Klubnik: Player Props, Odds, Lines for ACC Championship vs. SMU

The No. 18 Clemson Tigers started the 2024 season with what seemed like a catastrophic loss to then-No. 1 Georgia by a 34-3 score, but the play of Tigers QB Cade Klubnik has guided the team back into contention for the ACC Championship and a College Football Playoff spot.

Clemson rattled off six straight wins after the season-opening loss, and the lowest number of points they put up in that span was 29.

The offense cooled off a little as conference play heated up: Klubnik and company have only exceeded 30 points once since their November 2 loss to Louisville, as they scored 51 against FCS program The Citadel on November 23.

Still, third-year QB Klubnik has impressive numbers with a 64.2 percent completion rate, 3,041 passing yards and a 29-5 TD-INT ratio.

His best performance of the year was against Appalachian State in Week 2, when he completed 92.3 percent of his passes for 378 yards and seven total TDs. Against a major-conference opponent, his standout performance was a win over Wake Forest in which he completed 75.6 percent of his passes for 309 yards and three TDs.

Klubnik threw for over 300 passing yards three times this season, and he accounted for multiple TDs in nine of his 12 games in the regular season.

For the CFP, the Tigers face a win-and-in scenario in Saturday's ACC title game. If they win, they get into the Playoff as the conference champion. If they lose, they will have four losses and will miss the Playoff entirely.
