While her New York Liberty teammate Sabrina Ionescu hit the clutch three to seal Game 3 of the WNBA Finals, Breanna Stewart has been her team's best player in the playoffs.
It is, of course, a team effort, but Stewart leads the Liberty in points (21.0), rebounds (8.6), and blocks (1.7) and is second on the team in assists (3.6) and steals (1.6) per game in the 2024 playoffs.
Stewart has continued almost exactly where she left off in the regular season, during which she averaged 20.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game.
The veteran forward has two 30-point games in the playoffs, including in Game 3 of the Finals, where she also grabbed 11 rebounds, blocked four shots and went 10/10 from the free throw line. The game before that, she scored 21 points with eight boards, five assists and seven steals.
Stewart is clearly her team's go-to player when it comes to scoring. She has not taken fewer than 15 shots in a game in the playoffs, and while her playoff field goal percentage of 41.1 percent is four points lower than it was in the regular season, the approach is working as the Liberty have only lost two of their nine playoff games.
Ahead of the game that could secure the Liberty's first championship in franchise history - which would be the third in Stewart's career after she won two with the Seattle Storm - let's take a look at her player props for Game 4.
