This was for the vacant North American Boxing Federation Lightweight title and the vacant WBO Global Lightweight title, a fight he won against Jeremia Nakathila by technical knockout.

He went on to defend both of these titles in November 2023 before winning the vacant WBO NABO Lightweight title in July 2024.

So far in his career, Muratalla has won 17 times by knockout or technical knockout and five times by decision.

He made his boxing debut in March 2017, beating Sardorbek Kamilov by technical knockout. Including this fight, Abdullaev only needed to win his first seven fights in a row to earn his first title opportunity.

This was in February 2018 and was for the WBO Youth Lightweight title, a fight he won by technical knockout against Ardie Boyose. 

Immediately following this fight, Abdullaev won the WBC Silver Lightweight title in April 2018.

The one setback in his career was in September 2019, when he lost to Devin Haney in a fight that was for the WBC Interim World Lightweight title. However, since this loss, Abdullaev has won nine fights in a row.
