Oscar Duarte made his debut in 2013 with a first round stoppage win at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City. He won three of his first four fights, with one draw, and all of those wins came inside the distance.
Duarte made his US debut in 2015 with a victory over the previously unbeaten Alejandro Salinas, winning via split decision in a four-round contest.
La Migrana put together a 13-0-1 record before taking a significant step up in class against the experienced Rey Perez in 2018, winning via unanimous decision, and he followed that up with an impressive stoppage success over the 19-2-1 Roger Gutierrez.
Duarte wasn’t able to build on that momentum, suffering defeat in his next bout as he was outpointed by Adrian Estrella for the vacant WBC Continental Americas lightweight belt.
After that setback, Duarte embarked on an 11-fight winning run and picked up victories over Alex Martin and D'Angelo Keyes, but he then lost to elite opposition as he was stopped by Ryan Garcia in December 2023.
Duarte was last seen in April as he stopped Joseph Diaz in the ninth round.

Russian southpaw Botirzhon Akhmedov enjoyed an impressive stint as an amateur before making his debut in 2017, stopping journeyman Dmitry Lavrinenko in the third round.
Akhmedov made a huge statement in just his fifth professional fight, as he stunned the 20-2-2 Venezuelan southpaw Ismael Barroso with a ninth round TKO.
After compiling a 7-0 record, Akhmedov faced the unbeaten Mario Barrios for the vacant WBA (Regular) super-lightweight title, but suffered a first defeat as Barrios won via unanimous decision.
Akhmedov claimed two more wins and earned another title shot but again fell short via decision to Alberto Puello for the vacant WBA super-lightweight title.
The Russian lost again in his next bout to Sims Jr. via majority decision, and was last seen in November 2023 when he claimed a third-round stoppage success over Uzbek fighter Mukhammadsalim Sotvoldiev.
