Usyk made his professional boxing debut in November 2013, beating Felipe Romero by technical knockout.
After his first five fights, Usyk was awarded his first title fight in October 2014 for the vacant WBO Interim Inter-Continental Cruiserweight title and a fight he won by technical knockout.
Over his next four fights he was able to retain this title before winning the WBO Cruiserweight title in September 2016.
His next title opportunity was in January 2018 when Usyk won the WBC Cruiserweight title by majority decision over Mairis Briedis.
A few months later in July 2018, Usyk won the WBA (Super) IBF, and vacant The Ring Cruiserweight titles by beating Murat Gassiev.
In October 2020, Usyk won the WBO Inter-Continental Heavyweight title by beating Derek Chisora and then he won the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO Heavyweight titles in September 2021 with a win over Anthony Joshua.
Following this, Usyk won the vacant The Ring Heavyweight title in August 2022 from Joshua and more recently, the WBC Heavyweight title in May 2024 from Fury.
So far, Usyk has won 14 fights by knockout and eight fights by decision.

Fury made his professional boxing debut in December 2008, winning his first seven fights before winning the English Heavyweight title in September 2009.
After another six wins in a row, Fury won the British and Commonwealth Heavyweight titles in July 2011.
The next title he won was in April 2012, the Irish Heavyweight title and then the vacant WBO Inter-Continental Heavyweight title in July 2012.
In November 2014, Fury won the European, WBO International, and vacant British Heavyweight titles from Derek Chisora and followed this by beating Wladimir Klitschko and winning the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring Heavyweight titles in November 2015.

Fury's most recent fight was a loss to Usyk, where he lost the WBC Heavyweight title.
