Inoue made his professional boxing debut in October 2012 and only needed three wins to earn his first title fight in August 2013.

This was for the Japan Boxing Commission Japanese Light Flyweight title and a fight he won by unanimous decision. Following this, Inoue won the Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation Light Flyweight title in December 2013.

The next title Inoue won was the WBC Light Flyweight title in April 2014 and then the WBO Super Flyweight title in December 2014.

He defended this title in seven consecutive fights before winning the IBF Bantamweight title in May 2019. He then added the WBC Bantamweight title in June 2022 and the WBO Bantamweight title in December 2022.

More recently, Inoue won the WBC and WBO Super Bantamweight titles in July 2023 and added the IBF Super Bantamweight title in December 2023, which he has now defended in his two most recent fights.

So far in his career, Inoue has won 25 of his fights by knockout and just three by decision.

Goodman made his professional boxing debut in April 2018, immediately making a name for himself by winning his first nine fights before earning his first title fight in June 2021.

This was for the Australian National Boxing Federation Australasian Featherweight title and a fight he won by technical knockout.

Goodman followed this up by winning the WBO Oriental Super Bantamweight title in December 2021 and the IBF Inter-Continental Super Bantamweight title in July 2022.

So far in his professional boxing career, Goodman has won eight fights by knockout and 11 by decision.
