He defended both of these titles over the next four years and, most recently, beat Subriel Matias by unanimous decision in June 2024 to claim the IBF Super Lightweight title.

Hitchins made his professional boxing debut in March 2017, winning his first 14 career fights before earning his first title fight in November 2022.
This fight was for the IBF North American Super Lightweight title and wasa fight which Hitchins won when his opponent had to retire from the fight.
He followed up this win with another win in February 2023, this time for the WBC USA Super Lightweight title.
In September 2023, Hitchins also won the WBC Silver Super Lightweight title and the WBO NABO Super Lightweight title, beating Jose Zepeda by unanimous decision.
So far in this career, Hitchins has won seven times by KO and 11 times by decision. Like Paro, Hitchins has never lost a fight in his career.
