As we approach the weekend, a huge boxing match is set for Friday, November 15, 2024. This fight will feature rising star Jake Paul vs. the legendary Mike Tyson.

This fight will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be televised on Netflix.

Instead of the normal 10-12 rounds of three minutes each, this fight has been modified for eight rounds of two minutes each. Both fighters will also use heavier gloves to help prevent potential injuries.

Paul and Tyson will be the Main Event on this card and are expected to make their ring walk at around midnight EST on Saturday morning.

Mike Tyson to Win (+180)

For our first prediction, we will be backing Mike Tyson to win. There are a lot of factors going against Tyson in this fight, most notably the age difference. Tyson is 58 years old and Paul is 27. However, Tyson was once considered one of the greatest Heavyweight boxers of all time. He ended his career in 2005 with a professional record of 50-6. Of those 50 wins, 44 were by KO.

As for Paul, he enters this fight with a professional boxing record of 10-1. His only loss was a split decision to Tommy Fury and that was in February 2023. As much as it seems like Paul should win this fight given his youth, our best bet will be for Tyson to win (+180) as he has decades of experience.

Of course, his age is working against him, but he looks to be in prime shape and is expected to hold his own against Paul.

Fight to go the Distance - No (-200)

Our second prediction for this bout will target the fight to end inside the distance. As mentioned, Tyson has 44 wins by KO in his career. Further, five of his six losses were by KO, so 49 of his 56 professional fights ended before the final bell.

Paul, on the other hand, has seven wins in his career by KO, therefore seven of his 11 professional fights have ended by KO as he has never lost by this method.

The modified format and heavier gloves will likely work against a potential finish, however, both fighters are looking for a statement win which should make for a fast-paced fight.

Regardless of Tyson’s age, he still has plenty of power, which is why we will back this fight to end inside the distance (-200) as our second-best bet.

Over 4.5 Rounds (-175)

Our third and final prediction for this fight will be for the fight to go over 4.5 rounds. This play simply comes down to the fact that each round is only two minutes.

In a normal 10 to 12 round fight of three minutes each, this play would be riskier, but because it has been adjusted, we expect both fighters to be able to last at least until just past the halfway point and, therefore, will be backing this fight to go over 4.5 rounds (-175) on Friday night.
