With the holidays approaching, we are in for a treat in early December with a much-anticipated boxing match between Emanuel Navarrete and Oscar Valdez.
This fight is scheduled for 12 rounds in the Super Featherweight division and will be a rematch from their first showdown in August 2023.

The fight between Navarrete and Valdez is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
The expected start time for the Main Card is 10:30 PM ET and the ring walk time for Navarrete and Valdez is projected to be 11:00 PM ET.
The Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona will host the Navarrete vs. Valdez fight.
Viewers can watch the fight between Navarrete and Valdez on ESPN+ in the United States.
This fight will be for the WBO World Super Featherweight title, which is currently held by Navarrete.

Making his professional boxing debut in February 2012, Navarrete quickly made a name for himself, winning 25 of his first 26 career fights.
By December 2018, Navarrete was given his first title shot, a fight for the WBO World Super Bantamweight title, which he won via unanimous decision against Isaac Dogboe.
His next five fights were spent defending that title until he won the WBO World Featherweight title in October 2020.
He successfully defended that title in three consecutive fights before winning the WBO World Super Featherweight title in February 2023.
Navarrete has defended this latest title twice, including once against Oscar Valdez in August 2023 when he beat him convincingly by unanimous decision.
His most recent fight, however, was a loss to Denys Berinchyk by a split decision in May 2024 when he was aiming to claim the WBO World Lightweight title.
Overall, Navarrete has 31 wins by KO and eight wins by decision. Further, both of his losses were by decision and he also has one draw.

Valdez made his professional boxing debut in November 2012, winning his first nine fights in a row before challenging for his first title.
This title fight was for the North American Boxing Federation Junior Super Featherweight crown in April 2014 and he won by KO against Adrian Perez.
He defended this title successfully in three consecutive fights and continued to win bouts until his second title opportunity in April 2016. This was for the WBO NABO Featherweight belt and again he emerged triumphant, this time beating Evgeny Gradovich by TKO.
He won the WBO World Featherweight title in July 2016 and defended this title for his next six fights. In February 2021, Valdez won the WBC Super Featherweight title but only defended it once as he suffered his first career loss in April 2022 to Shakur Stevenson.
After bouncing back with a win in May 2023, Valdez lost again in August 2023 to Emanuel Navarrete in his attempt to claim the WBO World Super Featherweight title.
More recently, Valdez won the Interim WBO World Super Featherweight title in March 2024 after seeing off Liam Wilson.
Overall, Valdez has 24 wins by KO and eight wins by decision. Further, both of his losses were by decision.
At the time of writing, Navarrete is the favorite and is listed at odds of -280. Valdez is coming back at +215, making him an underdog to claim the WBO World Super Featherweight title.
