The Boston Red Sox have a few major additions to their roster heading into Opening Day 2025, but they face an early challenge with a road series against the 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers.
The Rangers had a down year in 2024, going 78-84 and missing the playoffs, but they still have much of the same group that won the 2023 championship on the roster. Plus, two-time Cy Young Award winner Jacob deGrom is entering the season almost fully healthy.
Boston Red Sox vs. Texas Rangers will be broadcast on Rangers Sports Network in the greater Dallas area and on NESN in the greater Boston area.
Fans outside those markets can watch the game on MLB.TV, which requires a subscription.
Boston Red Sox vs. Texas Rangers is scheduled to start at 4:05 PM ET/3:05 PM CT on Thursday, March 27th from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
