Jayson Tatum scored 46 points as Boston Celtics claimed a 108-95 win in Game 6 of their playoff series against the Bucks in Milwaukee on Friday.
The two teams will meet for a deciding seventh game at TD Garden in Boston on Sunday and the Celtics can be backed currently at 5/11 to win in the Money Line, while the Bucks are priced at 9/5.
The clash between second seeds Boston and third seeds Milwaukee has been fascinating throughout, with neither team able to really seize the advantage.
Tatum shines again
The Bucks have led the series three times but Boston have always found a way to level matters, and they had Tatum to thank for their crucial Game 6 victory.
Tatum scored 46 points - his highest total in this year's playoffs - on 17-for-32 shooting and managed nine rebounds and four assists.
The 24-year-old forward scored 28 points in the second half, with 16 of those coming in the fourth quarter, to guide the Celtics to victory, and his teammates were quick to praise his efforts after the game.
Brown hails Celtics' character
"It was a big-time performance," said Boston guard Jaylen Brown, via abc News. "Our backs are against the wall, too. You love to see JT come out aggressive and carry us offensively like he did forcing Game 7. Definitely a signature game for the Celtics and for Jayson."
In Game 5, the Celtics appeared on course to take a 3-2 series lead as they held a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter but they allowed the Bucks to fight back and snatch the victory.
Boston also held a 14-point lead going into the fourth quarter on Friday and Milwaukee managed to reduce that advantage to just four points but this time Tatum led the Celtics' charge as they managed to re-establish a big lead and hold out for the win.
"That's why he [Tatum] gets paid the big bucks," said Celtics guard Marcus Smart. "That's it right there. For moments like that. I was telling him the whole game, just be you man. He was. That's what he gets paid to do. That's what we that's what we lean on him to do."
